Solid Sateens
Cotton Sateen is produced by interlacing cotton yarns in a manner that exposes longer strands of yarn over the surface of the fabric being woven. Similar to a satin weave, but made from cotton that produces a gentle luster. Sateen sheets are supple, warm and drapable, and in recent years have become the standard for luxury bedrooms. Cotton sateens can run from 300 to over 1000 threads per inch.
With the wonderful selection of sateen sheets, cases, shams and duvet covers shown here, your choice may well depend on finding the right color. Anichini, Home Treasures, and Yves Delorme all offer a vivid selection. Delicious colors like cognac, persimmon, honey, chocolate, mocha, caramel, eggplant, and pale celery, as well as primary colors, naturals and all the basics.
Be sure to see the gold standard in bed linens, Sferra's 590 thread Diamante and Giotto, and the 1020 thread count Millesimo and Milos. |
