Bed Skirts and Panels

While many coordinating bedskirts are offered with bedding collections, we stock bedskirt "panels", either tailored or gathered, from Yves Delorme and Home Treasures. Panels are three sections of fabric which can be adjusted to longer or shorter drop length. 

We know that finding the right bed skirt is very difficult. There are tailored, machine ruffled and hand pleated styles. Some beds require rounded corners, other split corners. Lighter fabrics must be lined for a full appearance, heavier fabrics need not. Platform skirts are traditional, but removable panels are easier to install and adjust. And not all skirts will be just the right length you are looking for. From a design perspective, how do you decide whether to use that floral pattern, stripe or solid pattern in your linens, or should you choose a light weight sateen fabric or perhaps a heavier brocade?
