SUMMARY
RETURN POLICY: If you are not completely satisfied with any purchase for any reason, you may return it to us within thirty (30) days of receipt for your choice of a full refund or exchange. Refunds or exchanges will be made quickly upon receipt of the returned item. All linens must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition and packaging. All items should be accompanied by your sales receipt. No returns after 30 days. Details below.
CANCELLATION OF CUSTOM ORDERS: Orders for linen collections marked "Custom" are cancellable within 24 hours from the time of order with no penalty, after which a non-refundable 15% deposit will be charged. Balance charged on shipment. Custom linens may also be returned within 30 days of receipt, but will result in a forfeiture of your 15% deposit.
CREDIT CARD CHARGES: For regular orders, other than the 15% deposit on custom items, your card will not be debited until your order is shipped.

STATE SALES TAX
Sales tax is charged only for deliveries to North Carolina and South Carolina, according to the rate for your county or municipality.
SHIPPING CHARGES TO CONTINENTAL U.S.

FREE UPS SHIPPING ON ALL LINEN AND FRAGRANCE ORDERS OF $200 OR MORE WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL U.S.
Orders under $200: $10.00 per order handling charge only
Pillows: $7 per pillow
Comforters: $19 per comforter
Featherbeds: $29 per featherbed
METHOD OF SHIPPING
Unless otherwise requested, we ship via United Parcel Service, ground service, within the continental United States and Canada. Shipments to Alaska, Hawai, or Puerto Rico will be shipped via the new UPS "ground" service or the United States Postal Service, taking approximately two weeks. For shipments outside the continental US, you will be notified by email of the freight charges. Email or call for air shipment to Alaska and Hawaii, or for shipping rates outside the continental U.S. or for Next Day Air or Second Day Air rates. Please inquire about service to Canada. Foreign customers are responsible for import duties and fees.
SHIPPING TIME
DeWoolfson down comforters, pillows and featherbeds are made at the time of order for shipment directly from our North Carolina factory within 24 to 48 hours.
Most bed and bath linens will ship within 7 to 14 days. Many items are in stock for immediate shipment. Linen collections marked Custom will usually take longer (see below). We will confirm a shipping date to you by email as soon as possible after receiving your order. In the event your order is delayed, we will keep you regularly informed. It is possible that your order may be shipped from more than one DeWoolfson location or warehouse. No additional charges will result.
Custom Linen Collections: Linen collections marked "Custom" are those from vendors who cut and sew items for you on order, or who do custom embroidery from designs and thread colors you choose. These include all linen collections from Anichini and Anali. Most other vendors also have Custom collections. Custom linens will usually ship within 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the vendor and the item ordered. We are in close touch with our customers regarding their order status for "custom" linens.
CREDIT CARD CHARGES
When you submit an order to us for payment by credit card, your bank places a temporary hold on the order amount. We do NOT charge or debit your card at that time. We charge your card ONLY WHEN ITEMS ARE READY FOR SHIPMENT. No credit card information is kept by DeWoolfson. All confidential information is encrypted and maintained by our credit card processor and your bank.
Linen collections marked Custom may be cancelled without penalty only within 24 hours from the time your order is submitted to us. A 15% non-refundable deposit will be charged to your credit card after the expiration of that time. Cancellations after 24 hours and all returns will result in the forfeiture of your 15% deposit. The balance of your order amount will not be charged until we are ready to ship items to you. No returns after 30 days.
RETURNS
If you are not completely satisfied with any purchase for any reason, you may return it to us within thirty (30) days of receipt for your choice of a full refund or exchange. (The 15% nonrefundable deposit on Custom linens will be forfeited). All linens must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition and packaging. All linen returns must be accompanied by your sales receipt. We reserve the right to inspect and return to you any item that is not acceptable for return. Refunds and exchanges cannot be made until we receive your returned item. For faster exchanges, we can charge you for the replacement item and credit your card when the returned item is received. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Note on Selecting the Right Comforter or Pillow
The most common reason for a comforter return is that it is too warm. If you are unsure as to what weight comforter is best for you, order one weight lighter than what you think you will need. We can add down to your comforter anytime within one year from the date of purchase, charging only for additional down added. However,we cannot remove down if a comforter is too warm. Mountain Air and Canadian Winter comforters are suitable for bedrooms with little or no heat in the coldest climates.
If the pillows you choose turns out to be too firm or too soft, we can adjust it for you anytime within one year from the date of purchase. If you would like additional firmness, we charge only for the down or feathers added. If we remove fill, then we return it to you in a cotton shell for later use or to have as a small pillow (bedding laws prohibit us from reselling down once it has been used, so it must be returned to you).

All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your sales receipts. We recommend that you insure your package and keep a receipt from your carrier for all shipments to DeWoolfson, as we cannot be responsible for shipments we do not receive. We also recommend a carrier that permits you to track shipments. If you use the U.S. Postal Service, be sure to request a delivery signature. Refunds on approved returns will be made as soon as practicable after returned merchandise has been inspected, generally within 24 hours. Shipping charges cannot be refunded.
CANADIAN RETURNS
Canadian customers returning merchandise are responsible for obtaining any refund of import duties paid directly from Revenue Canada.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
We pledge to promptly address and resolve all warranty questions and claims. In most cases it will be necessary for us to see the items. Questions about silk or down comforters or pillows will be resolved immediately when it is returned for inspection. Questions about linens may require consulting with our linen vendor, and we will work with you to assist you in your warranty claim.
