Stephen Schlanser, the owner, had spent an apprenticeship with Paul von Domarus, a renowned German glass artist, learning the art of the century old trade. Each piece of Schlanser glass, brought to you by DeWoolfson, is individually handcrafted by transforming sheet glass into a collection of decorative vases, bowls and platters. Some of the vessels are composed with various etched designs giving each of them its individual flair. Polished or hand chipped bases are permanently attached. Upon completion, each piece is signed and dated.
