Peacock Alley was founded by Mary Ella Gabler over 35 years ago. She predicted that the bedroom, as the place where people spend a full one-third of their lives, would evolve from a utilitarian space to lay your head at night to a second living room filled with creature comforts. She then set out to develop a line of fashionable bedding that would appeal to stylish consumers looking to dress their boudoir the same way they dressed themselves: in natural fibers, classic silhouettes, and pleasing colors.

Today, Peacock Alley is well known for it's stylish matelasse coverlets and other fine linens. Peacock Alley linens are oversized to fit deeper mattresses and most matelasse fabrics are pre-shrunk.
